Look at the Stars, Look how they Shine for You by heART-Werks Look at the Stars, Look how they Shine for You by heART-Werks
...yeah, they were all yellow [link]
-ColdPlay

Joshua Tree climbing trip with some friends. Clouds started rolling in late at night but I kinda like it. The large streak on the top right going down is Jupiter.

Thankyou, Glad you like. Thats one thing about star trails facing East that I particularly like, that it looks like meteors :) This was 70 - 30second exposures stacked

How do you expose the lights like that?
Reply
:iconheart-werks:
heART-Werks Featured By Owner Mar 5, 2013  Hobbyist Artisan Crafter
This is actually 60- 30 second exposures stacked together. Its only about 30 minutes of actual time, but then you really get to see the movement of the stars.

Oh yeah, you will need an Interval timer with a shutter lock switch. Does your Camera have a BULB or Infinite Mode setting?

Agh, I'm not sure, I think so, wait yes I do have an Infinite Mode, I have never used it.

Awesome, can you plug in a remote shutter lock or interval timer on the side? Look for an input on the side of it or read your manual. If you can, then you should have no problem getting Star Trails. Hope that helps :)
